What is your photography about?
It is a very honest and general question. I hope you will find the answer in this short motion picture. For me, it is all about the passion for adventure, about these special moments when you are really put to the test both physically and mentally, about the trust and the bond among the friends, and ultimately about the unconditional love for outdoor lifestyle.
PEOPLE AND PLACES
It takes a group of motivated and positive people to make such a video. I have the honor and the pleasure to be among such generous people. In the video you can see, Lumi M. Toma (the glasses close-up), Navid Saleki (the descent from the glacial field) and Santiago Katz (providing belay for Navid), once again Lumi (on the 2nd pitch of ice climb above Argentiere, Chamonix, France), yours truly (chopping ice about the Argentiere glacier), and finally a recording from my helmet camera during the 1st rappel on the spectacular Arete des Cosmiques on Aiguille du Midi. The motion picture is concluded with a memorable and inspiring view just above the crux of the aforementioned climb, giving you a panoramic perspective on Mont Blanc.… Read the rest
